As I lie starring in the darkness
I wait for a clear thought to come to me
Lightning striking through the windows
Visions of my life pass and I can almost see
I so adore the feeling of freedom
And to be completely free-
It’s so hard though when you can’t
Decide where you want to be-
I love my family I need a home
But still have a need to somewhat roam.
It’s not the darkness, nor the lightning
That astounds me.
It’s the people I love so
Who don’t care to be found!
If they could only venture without such
Programmed thought-
Not be afraid of the unknown pure ground
You See-
It’s that beautiful world that
No one dares to see-
That is so all around us.
