The child in the street is very lonely
Hardly a chance to be very openly
A great question enters their head-
A moment later
Someone stops it dead.
A child needs to be
As free as a dove,
That soars through the sky.
They experience so much every day,
Through sleep and work
And great fun at play-
Natural trippers, walking along
Higher in life than a druggist has found
Loving more
And hating few
More beautiful than the sky so blue!
