Arise Collective Theatre was founded in 2019 by Rich, Mindi, and Grace Garnaat. Arise Collective Theatre’s aim is to create, produce, and perform high-quality musical theatre which positively impacts the audience and members’ lives for the Kingdom of God. With a passion for both musical theatre and proclaiming the gospel. Arise was birthed to inspire and impact the lives of others through creatively communicating God’s truth and performing redemptive-themed pieces. The name and mission come from Isaiah 60:1-2 which says, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.”
They will be performing Pilgrims Progress.
The Pilgrim’s Progress is a religious allegory by the English writer John Bunyan, published in two parts in 1678 and 1684. The work is a symbolic vision of the good man’s pilgrimage through life. At one time second only to the Bible in popularity, The Pilgrim’s Progress is the most famous Christian allegory still in print.
