One of the main reasons why people are drawn to this small Southern Caribbean island is the people. The Aruban people are known for having a natural sense of hospitality instilled in them. Aruba locally grows various fruits and veggies such as Watermelons, Papayas, Lemons, Beach Grapes, Madame Jeanette’s, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Peanuts, and Cashews. Aruba is north of Venezuela and is an island that is known for stunning blonde pristine beaches, wind-sculpted landscapes, and some of the best diving and snorkeling in the Caribbean. It is a relatively dry island with consistently fine weather and isn’t in the hurricane belt. It is one of the safest islands to visit or live in the Caribbean. Aruba has 1 airport and the island is only 21 miles long, and only 6 miles wide. Collectively, Aruba and the other Dutch islands in the Caribbean are often called the Dutch Caribbean. Aruba is one of the four countries that form the Kingdom of the Netherlands, along with the Netherlands, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten; the citizens of these countries are all Dutch nationals. There are many reasons to visit and move to Aruba.
