Mistie Layne went from being a Texas beauty queen at the brink of becoming a surgeon to facing a forty-year prison sentence behind killing someone. Cocaine and domestic abuse robbed her of ten years of her life and led to a horrific rock bottom she courageously describes in her best-selling book, “What Goes Up.” Mistie teaches her 4 steps C.O. P. E. = HOPE method which walks you through steps to release TOXIC shame and guilt, allowing forgiveness and love to emerge as a key to true inner peace and joy. After hiding her dark ugly secrets for years, she now STEPS UP AND SPEAKS OUT with passion and transparency about how to overcome your worst to live your best. She founded the #BethatONE movement which encourages us to STEP UP AND SPEAK OUT to educate and bring awareness so we can JUDGE less and MENTOR more. Mistie transforms lives by helping release toxic beliefs through transparency to overcome any adversity with confidence and resilience. Her talk show, Dare 2 Share with Mistie Layne, provides a platform for TRANSPARENCY to evolve and freedom to emerge. She also hosts Write 2 Ignite Women’s Empowerment Retreats. Mistie practices Nuclear Medicine full-time serves as the VP on Chemobuddies 4 Life board and is a contributing journalist for several international magazines.
